Palazzo Belmonte

“We couldn’t have loved the Palazzo Belmonte more! We really didn’t know what we were stepping into, as this was our first trip to Italy and our first hotel in Italy too. We showed up really late after a bad plane ride, but the hotel was super accommodating and were ready to welcome us. They even celebrated our honeymoon with a bottle of bubbly. Throughout our stay, the workers here were so great! Chiara, Claudia, Vincenzo, Andrea, and so many more. We never felt like a burden and they always went out of their way to help us. I highly recommend going to the front desk at the beginning of your stay to ask for their recommendations in terms of excursions, as they will make great recommendations, make the reservations at restaurants and places for you, and they’ll call a transfer car for you to get where you need to go. Our room was surprisingly comfy, the beds were a little thin and firm, but we slept really well and the pillows were nice. The view of the ocean was top notch. They cleaned our room every day, with fresh towels. Not a lot of counter space or shelves in the showers. Breakfast was fun and yummy! 8-10:30am. Array of yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, croissants, homemade jams (so good), hard boiled eggs, meats/cheeses, and more. They come around with cappuccinos as well. And if you want to add a heartier option (like an omelet) you can do so for about €4-8. But we never needed that. The pool and beach were amazing! The lifeguard even put out extra chairs one day at the beach when it filled up and a couple needed a spot to sit. You can walk the coast, go in the clear water, use some floaties, bring drinks down to the beach. All while looking at the gorgeous water with the Almalfi coast and Capri in the background. Overall - super recommend this place! There are many choices for hotels in this area, but this is the right choice.”
